Monthly Virtual Kids’ Gathering
Designed specifically for younger community members living with Nemaline Myopathy (NM), our monthly Virtual Kids’ Gathering offers a fun, casual, and supervised space for children ages 12 and under to connect and socialize. Hosted by AFBS Youth Ambassador Greta Baier, each session gives kids the chance to play interactive virtual games, share stories, and build lasting friendships with peers who share similar experiences.

AFBS Youth Ambassador Program
Our AFBS Youth Ambassadors are a dedicated group of young leaders putting a face to the Nemaline Myopathy (NM) community. By sharing their personal journeys, advocating for accessibility and representation, and offering invaluable peer support, they empower youth and families across the NM community to connect and thrive.
In addition to hosting our monthly Virtual Kids’ Gatherings, the ambassadors run the @AFBSYouth Instagram account, which spotlights stories, achievements, and everyday lives of young individuals living with NM.
